“Vortexitron” 8 ¼” x 8 ¼” x 67” and “Agitronix” 54” x 18” x 32”. Steel, Oil, Water, Glass, Motors, Lights, Magnets. 1996.
Two machines that create internal environments that are constantly changing. The internal fluids, gasses, and light are manipulated via mechanical means. The “Vortexitron” spins the internal environment into a vortex that can be controlled electronically by the viewer by turning a dial. The “Agitronix”, on the other hand, shakes violently, whipping its internal environment into a frenzy.
