About TEAMcreative

We are Tyler Evans and Alessandra Mondolfi. A husband and wife TEAM who have been working together in different creative capacities for 14 years, thus TEAMcreative.
We are both award-winning graduates from the Massachusetts College of Art. Tyler has been designing and building bicycles since 1995 and currently works at high-end frame builder Independent Fabrication as head of Research & Development and Marketing. Alessandra’s path has not been quite so linear. After graduating, she received a Fulbright Grant to study in Barcelona. Since, she has found herself as the technical instructor for the MIT Visual Arts Program, a custom furniture designer and fabricator, an art handler/installer for museums and private collections, a photographer, and a landscaper, among other things.
We have taken on some huge projects, one of which is the restoration of a monster house in Roxbury, MA. Practically single-handedly we have transformed our house and the surrounding land into a neighborhood highlight, by bringing out the best of its architectural character. The garden has also been an ongoing project. Starting with nothing but patchy grass and played out soil, we have created something special and were awarded 1st Place in The 2005 City of Boston Garden Contest.
Our window designs have been another series of ongoing projects. In the Improper Bostonian magazine, our rotating window displays at Michele Mercaldo’s Jewelry Store in the South End were recognized as one of the top 20 “IT things” in Boston.
We have done both commercial and private projects, some separately and some together, but always with input from the other. From commercial clothing displays for the PUMA “Black Store” in New York City to a private “Hungarian Style” fire pit in Westport Massachusetts, we don’t descriminate. We actually prefer the variety.
Recently we were hired to design and build a Booth for the “2006 International Gift Fair” in New York City. This was our first tradeshow booth and we were happy to learn that we were awarded Best Booth of the Show. We have also been featured in the television programs "ART 617" and "Chronicle".
TEAMcreative’s goal is to make a living off of our creativity, to create a viable business that makes the world a more interesting place. We want to keep learning and experimenting and are exited and inspired with each new challenge. None of this is really new to either of us; it’s what we have always done, just for ourselves. We have decided to take our creativity to the streets and are having lots of fun.
